What might it cost to have a Right Handed acoustic Guitar Set up for a lefty?
i know it would be easier just to buy a Lefty Guitar but there’s not much of a selection out there!
NO! Don’t do it.
You will be better off to buy a lefty guitar.
The reason you can’t do it is that you will have to replace the nut, because the grooves won’t be the right width to accommodate the strings.
Also the angle of the saddle can’t be changed without either plugging the slot in the old bridge and re-routing the bridge on the opposite angle, or replacing the bridge altogether. If you don’t change the angle of the saddle you’ll never be able to tune Your Guitar.
The interior bracing will also be backwards to a lefty guitar.
